The second book in L. Frank Baum's Oz series follows a young boy named Tip who has been raised by the wicked witch Mombi in Oz. When Mombi threatens to turn him into a marble statue, Tip escapes, accompanied by the magical Jack Pumpkinhead. Throughout his journey, Tip meets familiar characters such as the Scarecrow and the Tin Woodman, along with new ones such as Woggle-Bug and the Sawhorse.
